I found this article on Forbes, which includes an interview with Martin De Beer who is CISCO’s emerging technology executive. Throughout the interview they are discussing CISCO’s video conferencing product that they call Teleprescence. There are commercials for these out now which I’m sure many of you have seen at one point. I felt this product relates to class and specifically the book as it preaches about efficient communication.
When dealing with analytics and BI it is important that all of the numbers and graphs can be easily interpreted. Sometimes this is not the case and instead of exchanging emails back and forth, colleagues now have another way to easily communicate with each other without wasting time waiting for people to be in the same place at the same time.
